National Exports Award 2012

BDG s.a., in 2012, winner in the PYME EXPORTADORA (“Exporting SME”) category of the National Export Awards to business organizations in Guatemala.

On October 4, 2012, the President of the Republic, Otto Pérez Molina, with members of the directive board of AGEXPORT, gave to the founders and entrepreneurs at Enlasa s.a. the highest recognition granted by the Export Sector: "Exporter of the Year". This recognition, along with the other five award-winning companies, was presented in the presence of more than a thousand people, among which were the highest national authorities, national and international private sector executives, and delegates from international organizations.

 

This elegant ceremony was the framework for the AGEXPORT celebrations for 30 years since its foundation.
The PYME Exportadora award was awarded to EXPORTADORA BDG, s.a. Founded in 2002, it provides services such as project consulting, custom software development, outsourcing, and support. BDG provides comprehensive, flexible, and innovative technology solutions for regional clients such as Walmart, CitiBank, and Chiquita Banana among others. BDG’s exports, growing 31% per year, cover El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama.
BDG supports the quality of its services with international certifications such as ITIL and IPMA, and the company is in the process of its ISO 9011-2008 and CMMI certification. BDG has participated in international and national fairs such as the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, Outsourcing Congress, Global Connex, Service Summit, and the CLAB Latin American Banking Convention. Its collaborators have a high capacity for analysis and negotiation power, with knowledge of the latest technology tools.
